From 2012, Volvo will focus more on sustainability and hybrid driving in the production of buses. From 2014, only electric and hybrid buses were produced for the European market. In total, there are 5 different drives available:
- Diesel
- CNG
- Hybrid
- Plug-in hybrid
- Electric
Volvo city buses
Volvo produces different types of city buses in different versions. One of the most common city buses from 1999 to 2012 is the Volvo7700. This model was available in two versions, those of 12 meters and 18 meters. The successor to the Volvo7700 is the Volvo7900, which is produced to this day.
Volvo Regional Buses
Volvo also produces different types of intercity buses in different versions. The Volvo 8700 was produced in Poland between 2002 and 2011. The successor to the Volvo 8700 is the Volvo 8900 which is available in 6 different versions.
Volvo trucks
In addition to intercity and city buses, Volvo also produces trucks. The Volvo FH is a model range introduced at the end of 1993. They are especially useful for long distance travel with heavy loads. The Volvo FM is a truck model with a lower cab that makes boarding easier.

In addition to regional buses and city buses, Volvo also produces various types of machines. You can think of Volvo graders such as G940 and dump truck in the form of Volvo A45G.
